Porto Fino: Authentic Italian Pizza Dining Experience in Huntington

Great service, I went to get a pie and got some extra slide for free. their workers are courteous and friendly and their pizza is delicious

Food is amazing. This is the best service ever. It is so chill in here and the music is amazing. There's the best server Jordan she should be the manager best server here 10 out of 10 if I could give Jordan a raise.

Always a great experience when I dine in here . Food is always great, tonight I had a chopped house salad and the chicken Parmesan with linguine for my entree. Everything was delicious. My server doubles as the bartender. He's always great and a pretty cool guy too. His name is Timmy I would highly recommend and will be back

Addendum to previous review: It was brought to my attention that in my previous review I neglected to mention a particular staff member. Although Giavanna is there the majority of time even she is scheduled for two days off each week. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays relief is capably provided by Shay, whose previous lack of managerial experience, is overshadowed by her hard work and determination. Doubling as a full-time college student, learning is at her core. She is intelligent, personable, and easy on the eyes. I apologize for my previous omission and thank her for calling me out. Her contributions add to the overall appeal and success that the restaurant/ pizzeria has enjoyed. They are lucky to have her.

Need a mid-afternoon "pick-me-up," you just CAN'T go wrong with just about any of the 10 zillion pizzerias (only a SLIGHT exaggeration!!) in the Huntington area. Now, I may be the OPPOSITE of biased, since I've lived in the semi GOOD pizza DESERT of Ohioooooooooooo for waaaay too long and only get home to GOOD pizza on LI/NY region every once in a while!! Lots of choices here, we weren't toooooo hungry, so just shared and sausage roll and a spinach (or was it broccoli??) pinwheel (?) both of which were very good and more than filled us up. Sooooooo many choices here, I hope to try more next time I'm back in the area. Quick serve, like we got, though it looks like there's also a fine(r) dining area in the back. Come hungry, leave HAPPY!!

Went with the family recommendation instead of my usual 5-part vetting process, and hey, it's good to trust the locals sometimes. If Porto Fino had undergone that process, it would have been marked as legit the moment I saw scungilli on the menu. Great pizza. The plain isn't so plain after all, and the sausage is also commendable. Hot antipasto is a fine choice if you're into variety, but if you want to narrowly focus your app order, the baked clams that appear in this ensemble are better than usual. This isn't the chopped up variety, they're full clams, relatively large. Mushrooms, eggplant rollatini and shrimp were good too.
